Mary Apple Castillo, RN has returned to Fox Chase as our Nurse Liasion. Mary Apple, during the past nine years, has a wide range of nursing experience in both sub-acute, hospital and long term care settings. Her favourite past-time currently is spending time with Zach, her son.
Chantal Sery is a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of nursing experience, including dialysis, ventilator, and acute care, as well as long-term care. Although Chantal was also educated in other fields, she kept being drawn back to nursing. It now seems clear that nursing is what she was always meant to do, and she is passionate about it. Chantal says, “I like taking care of people. If I can ease somebody’s pain for one minute, then I feel that I am making a difference.” When she gets time away from her calling, Chantal enjoys reading, particularly about true crime and suspense.
Johanne is a physical therapist with over 15 years of professional physical therapy experience She has gained her clinical experience through assignments in acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, home health assignments, and inpatient rehabilitation centers. Johanne received her physical therapy degree in 1993 from Howard University in Washington, DC. She enjoys being part of a team of positive, results-oriented therapists who, like her, are dedicated to improving patients' quality of life.
Joel Rogers is a licensed, professional social worker dedicated to the welfare of each resident at Fox Chase. He is well-versed in patient rights, advanced directives, living wills and other issues of importance to residents and their families. Joel holds a master’s degree in social work and has served Fox Chase's residents and families for over ten years.
